PERSONAL WORK

photographer / artist

I returned to photography through a self published book and newspaper combining original images and drawings, created with leading male models.

The project was initially conceived as a tightly art directed shoot. Days before production, I broke my foot. As the shoot unfolded, I abandoned the plan on the final day, sent the team antiquing, asked the models to wear their own clothes, and moved everything into the yard.

The book was produced in three hours while I was on crutches. It does not reflect the original plan, but it preserves its intent. The experience reinforced a principle that continues to shape my work: preparation matters, but judgment in the moment matters more.
